NBA Draft 1-10

#1 - Los Angeles Clippers - Blake Griffin. Best case scenario = Shawn Kemp in his prime. Worst case = Any other Clipper, ever. They should really give this team to Seattle and set that city right.

#2 - Memphis Grizzlies - Hasheem Thabeet - Lasting image from college was Thabeet getting punked by DeJuan Blair. Is another Mutombo really worth the #2 pick?

#3 - Oklahoma City Thunder - James Harden - Way too high. This guy disappeared in big games, especially in the tournament. Besides, nobody ever learned anything in Arizona except how to rip bong loads and score. I suspect a questionable work ethic.

#4 - Sacramento Kings - Tyreke Evans - Surprise over Rubio. They must think he can be a PG and not just a SG. Ben Gordon type tweener. Only one year in college and wasn't even a full time PG for Memphis.

#5 - Minnesota Timberwolves (trade with Washington) - Ricky Rubio - Good value at #5. A little overhyped. A Jason Kidd type. Great passer, suspect shooter. Good for Minnesota though.

#6 - Minnesota Timberwolves - Jonny Flynn - Flynn will be better than Rubio but why take both? Possible trade pick.

#7 - Golden State Warriors - Stephen Curry - Great pick for a Don Nelson run-and-gun type of team. Can play the point or the 2.

#8 - New York Knicks - Jordon Hill - Anything that keeps Eddy Curry on the bench is a good idea. Plus, Hill is a legitimate scorer. He is from Arizona though, see OKC above.

#9 - Toronto Raptors - Demar DeRozan - Sure, high maintenance Socal players love heading to Canada. Not good news for Jason Kapono.

#10 - Milwaukee Bucks - Brandon Jennings - Good pick. The Bucks guards suck out loud and Redd is always hurt. I like how Jennings called out Rubio. Classy.
